Mariah Marrero is a dedicated and versatile dancer with over 16 years of experience across a wide range of styles. She received her foundational training at arts-focused middle and high schools, where she specialized in ballet, modern, and jazz techniques. Her studio training further deepened her expertise in contemporary, lyrical, and jazz—her strongest and most passionate styles. In addition to teaching dance, Mariah has experience instructing children through one-on-one swim lessons as a certified lifeguard. This role strengthened key qualities she brings to dance instruction, including patience, safety awareness, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. Mariah is currently a member of the West Chester University Dance Team, which is ranked 2nd in the nation in Hip Hop and 7th in Game Day at the 2024 UDA College Nationals. With a background in both competitive and concert dance, she offers a unique blend of performance-ready choreography and thoughtful, technique-driven instruction.
